SIA Senga is a company that has been engaged in fish processing and canning since 1993. The main activity of the company is the production of canned fish from smoked, fresh chilled, or frozen fish. Sprat, herring, mackerel, herring, sardines, sardinella, cod and salmon are mainly processed.

The main goal of the company is to make full use of the existing fish processing base, intellectual potential, labor force, to offer consumers high-quality, safe fish products at affordable prices.

In order to ensure the sustainable development of the company’s economic activities, an investment project will be carried out in two phases, the aim of which is to significantly modernize the company’s production facility by expanding the existing production facilities and purchasing powerful, modern production equipment and lines. Co-financing from EU funds will be attracted for the implementation of projects.

The long-term goal of the company is to make full use of the capacity of production workshops by increasing the production volumes. As a result of the implementation of both phases of the project “Modernization of fish processing production and purchase of technological equipment” the production workshop and production processes of SIA Senga will be significantly modernized, which will allow the company to increase the processing plant capacity and achieve a significant increase in production. Optimization of production processes, an increase of product quality, reduction of production costs, development of new product assortments, and creation of a modern brand will promote the company’s long-term competitiveness and allow it to win stable positions in foreign markets.
